    l just got a listing for a zero energy home. Its priced a little higher than the comparables in the neighborhood. What is the best way to communicate to buyers why it cost a little more?

    I find that the top three reasons for a buyer to purchase an energy efficient or ZEH today is:

    1) Health – people are spending more for healthy choices

    2) Monthly savings and higher resale value – protecting their largest investment

    3) Sustainable lifestyles – buyers are seeking ways to improve their quality of life

    As a realtor what do you believe are the top three reasons for your buyers to purchase an energy efficient or ZEH in your market? And what is working for you?
